This an imaginary preservation site, somewhere South of London, perhaps once the end of the surburban third rail electrification of the 1930's. The line closed in the Beeching era, but was taken over by the preservationists to show off their collection of Southern EMUs.
Some other rarities exist, including a motor train formed of a pair of LSWR 'gate stock' hauled by the ubiquitous M7 tank engine.

On open days expect a calvalcade of Terriers, brake van rides (including a Queen Mary brake van) and demonstration goods trains hauled by a Q1. There is usually an exhibition of steam powered road vehicles or something similar. Unfortunately Thomas the Tank engine is always next weekend's attraction.

This layout is the last creation from the prolific layout builder, Brian Scoulding and includes an original Triang EMU set, a 2BIL from an MTK kit and original Hornby Dublo operating signals. It is now owned by David Temple, who intends to further develop the preservation railway theme and offers the layout for exhibition.

Details (for exhibition managers) are, 00 gauge (4mm : 1foot), 17 ft x 18inch, including fiddle yard, operated from the front using traditional controls. At least two operators required.
