Walthers - Distributer of many makes of RR models, buildings, accessories and detailing parts in all scales.
Produces extensive annual catalogues in most scales. Recently noted for wide range of HO passenger cars.

Lifelikeproducts - Recently acquired by Walthers. Good quality steam and diesel locos and some freight cars in HO under the 'Proto 1000' and 'Proto 2000' ranges.

Athearn - Taken over by Horizon Hobby in 2004. Known for well established range of low/mid-priced simple HO freight car kits.
Recently introduced many of these as the RTR range (ready to run) with improved paint finish.
Also does 'Genesis' and RTR ranges of detailed locomotives.

Roundhouse - Also taken over by Horizon Hobby. Known mainly for its wide range of freight car kits in HO - now mainly ready to run old time.
Also produces some small old-time locos, including a logging Shay. Some N and HOn3 products.

Accurail - Widely known for good quality mid-price freight car kits in HO, but also produce locomotives and detailed ready to run freight cars.

Kato - High quality diesel locos in HO and N scales. Small amounts of freight and passenger rolling stock.

Broadway Limited - A new company producing high quality steam and diesel locos in HO.
These have sound systems as standard, and can run on analogue or DCC systems.

Atlas - Good range of quality diesel locos and freight cars in HO.

InterMountain Railway Co Locos and rolling stock in HO & N.

Woodland Scenics Woodland ScenicsŪ is the world's leading manufacturer in the model railroading scenery industry. (from N to G scale)

Northwest Short Line - Wheels, motors, gearboxes and other specialist items.

Kadee Couplings. American coupling system and much more.

Model Junction (Slough). U.K. shop specialising in US Railroad products in HO and N scales. Good on-line store, plus shop in Slough - well worth a visit if you are in the area.
